I have lived in the Goshen Fire District for 30 years with my husband who is a retired volunteer of the district. The last 3 years he has been driving a water tender for the multiple forest fires in Oregon. We lived in Lapine, Hillsboro and then moved back to Eugene early in our marriage. The property we are on is his family's. We have 2 daughters, a son, a step son, several grandkids and of course you have to count the granddog. We love animals and have recently started raising ostriches. I have been on the Goshen board for 6 years and came to the board with no knowledge of what a board member does, much less a volunteer or Fire Chief. It has been my pleasure to learn what I have and to serve our constituents of the Goshen district. I am pleased with all of our accomplishments and look forward to our future endeavors for our district and neighboring districts.
