Firefighters Stop RV Fire Prior to Spreading to Nearby Structure.
Pleasant Hill — Pleasant Hill and Goshen Fire Districts responded to a reported RV on fire in the driveway of a residents on Ridgeway Rd. The RV, which had been occupied prior to the fire was fully involved on arrival. The RV was parked up against a shop at the location and created concern for spread to the building. Firefighter from Pleasant Hill and Goshen assisted by Dexter Fire District and South Lane County Fire and Rescue were able to quickly keep the fire from spreading to the structure. A total of 14 firefighters were on scene of the fire and assisted in bringing the fire under control. The fire was extinguished after 15 minutes on scene. The cause of this fire is currently under investigation. Damage is estimated at $10,000. There have been no injuries reported as a result of this fire.
