Crews Respond to Commercial Equipment Fire

Goshen — Pleasant Hill and Goshen Fire Districts responded to a reported fire at Johnson Crushers International (JCI) late Friday morning. On arrival crews located a fire in a commercial filtering system that is equipped with paper filters on the exterior of the building. Firefighters were able to quickly access the fire and extinguish the fire in the unit without any damage to the main building. Damage is estimated at $2000 with the involved equipment being serviceable. The cause of this fire is believed to be from a spark or ember that was pulled into the ventilation system.
